Hi guys, I’ve been trying for the longest to get rid of these CCs, but no matter what I do, nothing helps.

My skin type is combo - oily with closed comedones on my forehead where I’m oiliest, and I really struggle with dehydration. I’ve been using these products lately (and some of them for longer) to help with my dehydration which I believed improving could help get rid of the CCs:

Am:
-Rinse with water
-Use Numbuzin no. 1 pure-full calming herb toner
-Use Iunik beta glucan moisture serum
-Dr. Althea 345 cream (I just got it a few days ago and I’ve been liking it)
-Paula’s choice youth extending daily spf fluid

Pm:
-Eucerin face gentle cleansing hydrating micellar water
-Prequel gleanser
-Use Numbuzin no. 1 pure-full calming herb toner
-Use Iunik beta glucan moisture serum
-Dr. Althea 345 cream

I’ve goon through weeks to months of trying to heal my skin barrier, and no matter what I still have these dehydration lines on my forehead and overall dehydrated feeling in my skin. But not using actives just makes me congested and the CCs don’t go away. But when I do use actives, I feel like the dehydration gets worse. I’ve considered trying azaleic acid, which I’ve never tried. I’m also considering maybe getting the Paula’s choice 2% BHA. I wouldn’t use an exfoliant every day tho as I know it’d be too much for my skin.

I’m at a loss here so any advice would be very helpful!

Hi everyone, I recently bought the Eucerin dual serum to help me with my dark spots and uneven skin tone. I don’t personally struggle with melasma, but from reading many posts, it seems that this product can help general hyperpigmentation.

Right off the bat I started using it twice a day — morning and night — only on my problem areas which are my mouth area, right cheek, nose bridge, and eyes, but recently I’ve been noticing how drying and irritating the serum is. I have combo-oily dehydrated skin which is pretty sensitive, so it’s really drying out and looking dull from the serum. I don’t use it every day, but I do use it at least 5 times a week.

I’m not sure if I should give up on it and return it as I really prioritize my skin barrier health or if I should stop using it until my skin is in a better state and then reintroduce it. It just feels so strong to keep going, but the success of using thiamidol sounds convincing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Or even any alternative recommendations.
