I’m currently in my 2nd semester of Electrical Engineering(NUST Karachi campus), but I also hold a 3-year Software Engineering diploma.

I’m interning as an ASP.NET developer (building Audit/Payroll software), and the disconnect is hitting hard. I’m struggling to choose: do I finish the EE degree, or pivot fully into the software career I’m already building?

EE: Solid degree, but feels far from the coding I enjoy.

ASP.NET: Already gaining professional experience and skills.

Has anyone bridged these two, or is it better to pick one and commit? Would love some perspective on whether the EE degree is worth it if I’m already working in dev.
