So I go buy paint with the promise that I'll get a rebate. That rebate is sent through a physical card which expires in 6 MONTHS. Not even a year. Am I crazy or is this a shady business practice? Most businesses would make this rebate sent AS A CHECK but no, they force you to come back to the store AND there's a time limit.

Here's how it goes, you shove it in your wallet and keep telling yourself, I gotta go to Lowes then one day you show up in the store to make a purchase and it's expired. I call all the numbers possible and they all feed me the same line, "we're a third party and there's nothing we can do. It's expired so you're screwed."

This is enough to make me boycott Lowes. Really shitty practices that do not benefit the customer at all.
