Alternatives to window AC
Warm weather has arrived.
Me and my family live in an old house (1912 build). The house has 2 stories and a basement. The HVAC and electrical has all been updated in the 5 years we’ve lived here but the upstairs still has no air circulation. The downstairs is the perfect 72 temp on this 90 degree day but the upstairs sat around 85.
We got new neighbors last year that throw bonfires and partake in extracurriculars as much as they can (I’m not hating by any means), reason I brought that up is we have sensitive smoke detectors and they set them off 10-12 times last summer.
There’s nothing worse than being woken up to the screech of the smoke detectors at 2am then trying to get kids back to sleep.
My question is, are there any alternatives to putting that window ac in? Thanks!
