I have a shoreline gradient created with Geometry Nodes (using a color attribute). It shows perfectly in Eevee (viewport and render).

However, when I switch to Cycles (to bake), the effect completely disappears — both in viewport and render, as if the Geometry Nodes result isn’t being used at all.

Because of this, I can’t bake the texture.

Is there something specific I need to do to make a Geometry Nodes color attribute work in Cycles and be bakeable?
