HRV is 9, consistently

I guess I’m wondering how worried I should be and what I should do.

I’ve had five hip surgeries over the last three years, last one was 6 weeks ago. I also am dealing with ptsd, latent tb (I’ve done all the treatment but it’s there forever) and severe arthritis (hence all the surgeries) but I’ve been told for the past few years that I’m in remission from the arthritis. My inflammatory markers are crazy and I just can’t figure out what’s going on.

Is HRV really that good a measure of health? Could it be the inflammation? And surgeries in general? How should I work to bring my HRV up?

Five hip surgeries, two replacements, 32 years old

I just had my second hip replacement, my fifth hip surgery in the last 3 years.

I just need someone to tell me it gets better. This recovery is hard. I’m seven weeks post op from the second replacement. I’m exhausted, in pain, and physical therapy is absolutely kicking my ass.

I lean severely to the left when I walk without a walker (most recent surgery was on my left side) and I’ve been told I just have a ton of muscle atrophy from all the surgeries. Im still on post op oxycodone, down to two a day. My pain doc is pushing me to get off of it, but it hurts so bad.

I’ve had severe autoimmune arthritis since childhood, so I knew this was coming. But I just need someone who’s been something relatively similar to tell me it gets better.
