Is this ready to stain

Hello yall, beginner here.

I had originally stained this and fucked it up by not sanding enough/getting old varnish or whatever was on it off. So I had to strip and sand it all down AGAIN. Is this ready to stain now? FYI it would be an espresso color so on the darker side.

The dark marks are hard to get out from my previous stain and I’m afraid of unevenly sanding if I reaaaallly get into those couple darker spots.

I’m asking because idk if I can do it a third time…..

Bottom right is a little moist still from wiping it down with water to get rid of excess dust

Potentially leaving CST position for medworks service rep.

Hello all!

I’m currently a CST working in a hospital in WA and have been secretly talking and working with medworks to hopefully (probably) secure a service rep position. According to them I’d mostly be working in the greater Seattle
Area but there’s a chance I might return to work as a rep for the local hospital I’m employed at now as a CST.

My questions are

  1. Do I tell my employer that I’m leaving for medworks? Or can I / should not tell them the specifics as to why I’m leaving.

  2. Can I tell my coworkers who are ultimately (id like to think) my friends but ask them maybe not to tell management?

  3. If I don’t tell anyone any details and wind up coming back as a rep down the line will there by any conflict of interests I might run into? Both personally and professionally ?

  4. Different topic. The ad/two interviews I’ve had did not mention any kind of signing bonus. I’d be traveling a lot , approx 1.5 hours each direction two and from work, especially if bouncing around multiple facilities in one day. Would it be appropriate to try to negotiate a signing bonus? I could phrase is as since I’ll be doing so much traveling and mileage on my car I want to get new tires / get everything checked/maintained on my car to make sure it’s in the best condition in preparation?

  5. 4b. If I do get it and use that reason do I ultimately gonna check for proof I used it for that? Like if I got the bonus and ended up not needing it for my car can I just use it Willy nilly

  6. Or would they ask for receipts or proof I used it the way I claimed I would.

Thank you so much, just kinda feeling guilty for leaving my coworkers but ultimately I’m not gonna pass this opportunity for a better career and future. Also if this isn’t the right place for this post please direct me to a better subreddit.
