An RCS fix that actually worked!
Ever since iOS 26 launched, I've been having lots of bugs with RCS.
Messages from Android devices would be consistently delayed by 7 minutes, even when we were on the same wi-fi network.
Message from Android devices being delayed for up to 24 hours
Group chats with iOS and Android devices would not update at all
Group chats with iOS and Android devices would only show me iOS users' messages, but not the Android messages
Sometimes chats with Android devices would only update on cellular and not wifi
If you're experiencing any of these and the general reboots and toggling RCS on and off aren't working, try this:

Even though you're on an Apple device, the RCS protocol is managed by the network. Most networks are using Google's Jibe Cloud as the backend for it. Deregistering your number tells your carrier, "don't send me RCS messages at all. My phone is not even in your database of RCS devices." This can get all messages unstuck because it is no longer trying to queue up messages and just dumps them via mms. Re-enabling RCS after this has worked flawlessly.
