What is everyones favourite Roc-a-fella release that isn't one of Jay's or Ye's
Probably Come Home With Me or another one of Cam's or Diplomats

Probably Come Home With Me or another one of Cam's or Diplomats
As someone who doesn't live in the US
I expected Alley Cats to be obviously abysmal comedy wise, but jesus nothing has ever made me appreciate the skill of a good voice actor, or even just a competent one before. Anyone else getting that feeling? Something feels so off about it, like a there's such a disconnect between the audio and the visuals.
Ricky especially, he literally sounds like he's reading lines he's never read before for the first time into a microphone.
Am I crazy or is Pharrell not mixed so ridiculously low on Getting Some Head that it's insane they released it like that?
I feel some people have very unrealistic expectations for the Bully Deluxe. Are people forgetting what a deluxe is? I'm seeing posts expecting basically a whole new Bully. I mean there's a post on this subreddit now that says their hopes are stuff like a This A Must beatswitch for example.

The deluxe will be a few new songs, maybe some part 2s like Donda, probably at the end of the album maybe placed throughout. Very maybe a couple mixing changes. That's it.

Sure I would love the idea of a whole new next level version of Bully, and yeah I concede there is like a 5% chance that might happen because it's Ye. But some people are acting like that's the minimal expectation, even though that's never in history of music what a deluxe is.

Just a pure feeling but those two songs make sense together, Gemini Season seems more like a project rather than a song on Bully Deluxe.
The aesthetic of Gemini Season is so not Bully
I think the Bully Deluxe is to close the Bully chapter opening to the next one
The empire tags have their charm in a way... But also would love a Scarface and Something You forgot etc without them. I swear I remember someone linking to one once which is why I'm asking
As impressive as it is that Tha Carter 3 is as good as it is after suffering the empire leaks, what amazes me most is how different the two sound?
Like, I love both The Drought Is Over 2 compilation and Tha Carter 3, but I can't get over how distinct they are to each other.
Tha Carter 3 that actually released sounds like the blockbuster album that it is. It's super slick, it's got a bit of everything, some hits, some bangers, catchy sing a long hooks, high value production that has a lot of time and attention to it etc etc.
But Tha Carter 3 leaks sound like a completely different project. It's experimental as hell. I've never heard anything that sounds like stuff like Something You Forgot, Scarface, I Know The Future . Bar a few songs, the songs on there really don't sound like they would fit on Tha Carter 3, in fact they don't sound like they would fit on any album as popular and mainstream as Tha Carter 3 was always going to be.
So many songs on the leaks I must admit at first I really did not know what to make of them, so many people in the community praised the leaks as even better than the actual album so I was excited to listen to them, but on first listen I was left with a vibe of confused to disappointed, there were some tracks that I liked but most sounded so odd. But over time The Drought Is Over 2 has become one of my favourite 'albums' in all of rap. And it sounds so unique, like it's from a alternate reality.
I'm very curious about the history of them and the project. Like part of me doesn't believe the narrative that the songs were actually meant for Tha Carter 3, at least a lot of them. And the leak was on purpose to build more hype. Probably not the case but I actually think we got the best of both worlds in the end. Tha Carter 3 was the monumental mainstream hit record that it should be. And then the leaks are the more experimental unique stuff for the more hardcore fans to find.
Even trying to make an ultimate album between both the released songs and the leaked I feel just weaken both with how different they are.
Watching the concert film of the serious moonlight tour, in the credits it states lighting technician as Ozzy Osbourne?
Anyone know the story behind this? Seems so random. I've googled it and found no answers.
What was the reaction in terms of leaving the new Orleans bounce sound, was there a backlash from old fans?
