why don't wayne fans talk about mixtapes like lil weezy ana, The W. Carter Collection 2, The Carter 2, Part 2: Like Father, Like Son, the carter files

Why don't I ever see people discussing mixtapes like Lil Weezy Ana, The W. Carter Collection 2, or The Carter Files?

top 10 wayne songs all time

i've been having myself a "weezy" summer and decided to list the songs that are rising to the top. this is my own personal top 10 list, just an opinion. opinions are legal man. curious if anyone agrees or disagrees.

  1. Mr. Carter - sick beat, sick chorus, sick feature. it's got all the elements.

  2. Fly Out - the chimes at the beginning get me going. but also sorrow because its the end of the carter II.

  3. Let the Beat Build - what a good time, fun beat, great for bbq or golf

  4. A Milli - pretty good beat on this one. thumper. my friend tested the bass in his new car with this song. crazy ahh.

  5. 6 Foot 7 Foot - like a milli but came out a little later

  6. Surf Swag - you seen when they do this at the football games. its lit!

  7. Let It Fly (Feat Travis Scott) - trav was in his bag with this for sure

ALL WE DO IS SHOP UNTIL WE DROP

God I fucking love this song. Personally it’s Wayne’s best song to me.

What Wayne song(s) do you think are underrated?

Wayne has a lot of material not on streaming and over the years released hundreds of songs. What’s your underrated favorite or favorites of his?

These are a few of mine:

Staring at the word
Blinded featuring Starr

Tour merch

How can I buy a tshirt from the tour with 2 chainz? I don’t see the same merch online anywhere. Will it go online later after the tour?

Which Wayne verse did you replay the most when you first heard it: “The Motto” or “Blood Ni**az”

The Carter III

I am too young to have experienced the mania but The Carter III is my favourite Lil Wayne album and I play it religiously. Where were you and do you remember how that New Year’s day this album released looked? Was it bumping in all the cars, clubs, streets, etc?

Throwback: In 2008 Kanye West hopped on Lil Wayne's "Lollipop"

#Throwback: In 2008, #KanyeWest hopped on the "Lollipop" remix and stood toe-to-toe with prime #LilWayne. 🍭 We all remember Wayne's "better wear a latex" bar, but #Ye’s autotuned verse was undeniably legendary. Did Kanye deliver on this remix?

I love how dated this line is

Yea I know people can still get killed by people they met online but I remember the big scare that was going on at the time this mixtape came out, sexting and all. But meeting people online even if it’s not for dating but especially with dating is so normalized now that it’s just funny to hear the line since it is still pretty dangerous but not feared as much anymore
