Think my local TMobile may have just fleeced me on my upgrade

I VERY SPECIFICALLY declined Protection360 for my new IPhone over three times and then had another employee come out with my new phone to “finish the transaction”. When I got home I realized I was charged upfront more than double what I was supposed to for the upgrade and basic screen protector/20w charging adapter and then today I got a message thanking me for adding my line to Protection360.

Sounds kinda scammy to me 😒😕🤷🏻‍♀️

Edit: I didn’t see the full price in the moment as I’m on someone else’s plan and just forwarded them the money afterwards. We just assumed it was going to cost the same as the upgrade I asked for was supposed to and just went ahead with it all w/o thinking or double checking even after the employee switcharoo. Also was in a bit of a time crunch and had appointments to make afterwards so we just sorta rushed out carelessly ASAP which 🤦🏻‍♀️ totally my fault in retrospect given these employees LIVE off commissions and pull these at every store regardless of the provider)
