I moved to a mountain lake in North Alabama after living in Florida for nearly 40 years. I brought my fairly new zero turn mower with me. Trying to cut the new steep terrain was terrifying. I felt like I was taking my life in my own hands. About two weeks later I found out my next door neighbor's husband, whose yard isn't as steep as mine, had purchased a new zero torn mower about 10 years earlier. Being a good neighbor, we tempted to cut this yard. The mower turn over on him and he PASSED AWAY IN MY YARD. True story. I never used my zero turn again. I did tons of research and I purchased the Mowrator remote controlled mower with all wheel drive. If you have steep terrain or ditch or anywhere in your yard that your mower could flip over on you, please get yourself a remote controlled mover. Now it's safe and actually fun to cut my yard.
