Okay so I usually don’t mind a daddy/age gap book however I am STRUGGLING with Jonathan. I was intrigued going in but the more she keeps saying she’s not a child, and he basically tells her she is and then the good girl on top of that🤢 I’m so here for all of that usually but I cannot with him💀 what are your general thoughts on them? Is it because I was introduced to this universe via LoG and he’s a grandpa? But like before, a silver fox I don’t mind. Especially authoritative ones. But he just😬

What have I gotten myself into???? Finished LoG first, then went to RES, currently finishing VC. I thought I knew what this universe was going in, English old money, new mafia American/russian money, but there’s hockey????? What else is there here? I thought I knew the general vibe so now I’m confused. Obvi with LoG I know mafia comes in and gets involved, and I recognize most names on the family tree, but what else is there in this universe? Is hockey just used as the football fill in? Who are these other people??

You GUYYYYSSS *insert Jonah Hill screaming gif* I am fucking dying. It’s been a fucking MINUTE since I’ve been blushing/giggling/kicking my feet over a MMC and every interaction I’ve had with Cole (only 75% done with Vicious Prince) I’ve fallen more in love with him. I AM SO DOWN BAD FOR THIS MAN😭😭😭😭😭😭 I’m so excited for his book and SO worried about being disappointed😭 I know Cole and Silver aren’t favs here, but how did you guys like their book? I’ve read LoG and my favs from there are Eli & Ava (Ava’s self destructing habits really spoke to me and the way Eli is with her is everything), Jer and Cecy (even though it could have been done better, Jer having that talk with Ava about Cecy and standing up for her like that really meted my heart), and then Lan and Mia (I LOVE me an arrogant psychopath who just doesn’t give a fuck) -just so you know my vibe. Do you think I’ll be sad about it? I’ll update yall but here’s my current reading thoughts. Anywho thanks for coming to my ted talk🫡

Just a few random thoughts I’ve had so far in the series:

- Ronan saying “m’kay” makes me exclusively think of Mr. Mackey from South Park and I hate it💀

- I really liked Xan and Kim’s dynamic going into that book, and I’m lowkey a little disappointed. I thought it could have been done better, the angst and longing dragged out more by Xan but yolo. Enjoyed it either way

- As I’ve read, I’ve fucking hate Silver from the start. As I keep going I’m now fearful….i think I may have some of Silvers toxic behavior issues and Cole….my god I think im down bad and I really don’t even know the start of them but I’m afraid they’ll end my favs from this series….😅

-Starting VC, I’m am SO curious as to Ronans deal with Teal. I’m sure something huge will be revealed, but to see him so grumpy and lowkey rude to her when he’s literally never done that except to occasionally irritate the boys, to which he still is smiling and laughing genuinely, and with her is just not. Lowkey is jarring and I’m intrigued

-Also I’ve been listening to the audiobooks since I’m not super crazy obsessed with the stories, just enjoy them for what they are, but I’m running out of hours and with all 30+ books it’s a lot. Are they any books I MUST listen to because they’re better than reading?

Just wanted to share that everytime Aiden and Elsa have memories from the past, all I can think of is Catherine and Heathcliff from the new Wuthering Heights. The way Elsa is like I’m going to keep you! And you’ll be mine forever! And the way he likes her so much is as kids in this situation is just so cute to me. (Obvi I know it’s horrid and traumatic, look at the good stuff) but it very much gives me the Here is your new pet sweetheart with Catherine and how she thought of Heathcliff when they first were brought together is just the same vibe as Elsa discovering grey eyes

I know everyone’s been shitting on Aiden lately: it’s cause he fucking deserves it. I was hardcore fuck Silver but the more I read the more pissy I am with Aiden. She do be making insane comments where she deserves to be smacked, but also how Aiden is handling this is pissing me off. Also, I started this thinking Cole was chill and boring but the more I see of him and how he handles Silver and his empathy for Elsa, he’s quickly moving up my ranks. BUT AIDEN CALLING HIM A PUSSY EVERY TIME HE dOeSnT wAnT tO dEaL wItH qUeEnS BECAUSE AIDEN PULLED SOME SHIT PISSED ME OFF. When Cole told him to fix his own fucking problems I’m pretty sure I was jumping around punching the air and Aiden was acting like Cole was being a bitch?????? I dont know he’s falling off fast and Cole is gaining heavy
