Thinking about building something for founders to rate investors, would you actually use it?

Repeat founder here, apparently incapable of learning my lesson.

Every fundraise turns into the same group therapy session, founders swapping investor stories like war vets, but all the real stuff lives in DMs and whispered “do not work with this person” calls.

I am hacking on a tiny project that lets founders anonymously share their actual experiences with investors, both the good and bad. Not just “firm bad,” more like, “this partner ghosted after 4 meetings,” “this one was insanely helpful post check,” “this one kept trying to rewrite our roadmap.”

Oh and the best part, this would be low or no cost for founders, the idea is that investors pay the premium to see and use it, and pay even more if they want to respond to any comments.

What I am trying to figure out:

  • Would you actually share your own experiences if it was anonymous and founder only, or nah?
  • Before you take a meeting or sign a term sheet, what would you really want to see, unfiltered?
  • Do you already trust any networks/forums that exists today, or is it all vibes and backchannel?

Not here to pitch, not selling anything, just trying to see if this is something founders would genuinely use, or if I am just inventing a very elaborate way to procrastinate on my real work.

Brutally honest feedback from people who have raised, are raising, or got burned is very welcome.
