My first ship in survival mode. It runs on bamboo. Endless fuel!

The bamboo grows right on the ship, is mixed with water to form pulp, and compressed into cardboard, which goes straight into the steam boiler. It’s quite efficient, and there’s always plenty of cardboard to spare. I’m thinking of turning the second deck into a food farm.

I haven’t done any calculations yet, but if you use it to make cardboard, the results should be pretty good. The only problem is the water – you need a lot of it.
