The album scar sanctuary is out and I’ve been listening to it multiple times and overall: it was a pretty solid album about pain, depression and afterlife. The emo/punk elements was spot on and it wasn’t a lot of explosions or laser kicks at the start.
But one song made me disappointed, the one song I was excited for was ”Reaper”. First time I heard it at defqon, it was the most powerful and intense song that had the heavy metal elements that made for some reason head bang on festivals. But in Scar: some elements got cut/limited and the it made me think the song got censored during mastering since it was too brutal or intense.
But it is my opinion and I think if that intensity is censored, then uptempo will win and we’ll be having microwaves that take over.
