A couple of pitmans shorthand questions

I’m finding it harder to find the answers to my questions as my shorthand gets more advanced, hoping someone can help me out 😊

  1. Is it ok to omit the word “in” for high speed dictation? I’m finding that it’s often not needed eg “he lives in France”, “they were in agreement”, “let’s study that in more detail”. Would it be ok to omit in cases such as these or am I storing up problems for later?

  2. Very specific one - could short forms “and go through” all be joined together, if the reversed form of through is used? Or is there any reason not to do this?

Thank you! 🙏

How do you write initials of someone’s name in pitmans shorthand?

Hello, struggling to find the answer to this one. In pitmans shorthand if you’re writing someone’s initials (e.g. if they’re spelled out by the speaker, or you’re differentiating between different speakers in meeting minutes), how would you write this? Would you just use longhand letters? Thank you!
