Got about 2 hours left on DCC 8.

Need a decently long audiobook series to hold me over until the next Primal Hunter release please.

I enjoy the bizarre comedy of DCC, as well as the grit that comes with it.

So far im caught up(audiobook wise) on a few different series.

Dungeon Crawler Carl

Mage Tank

Primal Hunter

He Who Fights With Monsters

Heretical Fishing

System Universe

Noobtown

The Hedge Wizard

Defiance of the Fall

Chrysalis

Path of ascension

There's a couple others that aren't strictly LitRPG that I havent included

Anyone have a good recommendation? Currently have 60hrs left on my work week, and music just blends together after about 6 hours of driving

Mage Tank 3 question

Currently on chapter 72, but earlier during the fight, Arlo states that Cloaky is playing Nightwish.

Anyone know if its been stated which Nightwish song they were playing?

Mage tank has been awesome!

So glad i finally bit the bullet and grabbed the first 2 while they were on sale! I had never heard of Daniel Wisniewski before, so was a bit hesitant as I can be a bit picky about audio quality and choices for the different voices.

Spoiler for context as to where I am.

>!Currently on Book 2. The party is currently talking to The Operator shortly after Arlo lost half his brain and went full murder hobo!<

Overall I've been having a blast. The common trope of using half a chapter to review stat sheets every 3-4 chapters has so far been used very rarely which is a plus. Having dedicated chapters for the stat stuff was a great choice by the author, since I can put audible to 1.5 or 2x speed and get right into the meat and potatoes of the events.

At first, I was a bit confused by the "pause" use of the word pause to break up sentences and thought it may have been an editing error, but once Arlo got more into learning the language I started appreciating it more. Not sure exactly how to describe it, but it helped the mental picture for how the spoken and physical mannerisms of the (pardon my spelling) citizens of Eschendor might behave.

Now for the big gripe. Can any of you physical/e-book readers tell me how some of this stuff is spelled? Arlo is a pretty straight forward name, as with Verin and Grotto. But the rest of the names for characters and places are a bit harder to parse out through audio alone. Like, is the female clerics name spelled Xim, Zim, Xym, or some other variation of phonetically similar spellings

Scrolling through the sale before starting my shift and, isnt this series like, super smutty? From everything I've heard about it, nothing sounds like its made for kids and teens

I get that the entire scene is really just joking about the litrpg trends as a whole, normally I like that.

But please, please tell me they don't lay it on this thick the entirety of the book. Its about as subtle as nuclear bomb.

It seems like these chapters are always the most bat shit insane parts of the series so far.

Is this the authors way of shitposting and fucking with Ryan? I was NOT expecting to listen about an old granny getting ready to gum it up.

Edit: just noticed I got the names backwards. Been a long day and my brain is fried
