Top lane has had priority queue for quite a while now, is it that unpopular? How can it be changed?
Been playing a lot of ranked top over the past couple of months and I’ve noticed that Top and Jungle (sometimes support) has permanently been priority queue. I’d actually get Aegis of valor sometimes just from playing top, though I really wish I didn’t because it’s fake.
I always think about the Darius analogy when it comes to top - sure you might eventually outscale and beat him, but a lot of the time he’s a hard bully in lane and no one goes into league and signs up to be his bitch for the first 20 minutes of the game.
I know there’s some unplayable matchups but surely it can’t be that bad? Other than that is the lane really as unpopular and unfun to play in? What can riot do to change it?
