Is the anime for me?

I know asking he people here, who are probably some of the biggest fans, might be a bit silly, but im just looking for some honest advice.

Is the anime a powerfantasy? Doesnt seem like it, but will it turn towards this, where the MC could just kill whoever he pleases?

Is the series gonna go towards a predictable overthrow the evil church/government plotpoint? Some do this well, but I fear this will end as way to become a revenge fantasy.

How isekai-esq is it? I know its not an isekai technically, but is it like an isekai? Im talking with a party system, levels, classes and the sort.

How dark is it really? It gets advertised as a dark fantasy, but so was gachiakuta for example and there nothing bad ever happened post first episode. Do characters like make bad decisions? Does the villain sometimes get their way?

Do named characters (non antagonists) actually die? And I dont mean like two self sacrifices and some mentor, I mean actually a bunch of minor or major characters you can care about die. CSM and JJK kinda spoiled me on that spice.

I know these all things you can and cant care about and I dont need them ALL to be true, but I just want to get a feeling before getting invested. Everyone has different tastes and its obviously very successful, but I have a big backlog and wanted to ask instead of not giving it a chance.

I have seen a lot of people talk about the upcoming discourse of the series and how anime onlys will react. I know its still a year away, but I already see the talking happening with non readers.

Mainly, about kuneshige, soga and samura. I keep seeing this sentiment that people will have the wrong opinions about them, that they wont get it and that you need to correct them.

Please dont do this. We all read the manga. We all had the plot twists and revelations come to us slowly. We all thought that samura is a traitor, we all thought soga was an irrational madman etc. We all were wrong about those characters at some point due to the story being earlier on. This will be the case for anime onlys too. So dont go out and correct them with information they dont yet have. Let them experience the twists and turns just as we did.

"The samura discourse is gonna be terrible"

No, its not. Its gonna be the same as we had it and they will forgive just as much as we do or dont. Dont ruin his great story just because you might be technically correct in that he isnt a traitor.

I promise you, we are not smarter than the anime onlys, just further in the story. Let them enjoy the story and they will get it too. Of course they will be wrong, thats the point of plot twists. They are there intentionally. Horizontal wants you to start off on the wrong foot, dont take this aspect away from the experience.
