What's The Best Sound In The World?

What, in your personal opinion, is the best singular sound in the world? It could be something as on the nose as your store lock turning at the end of the night, a single riff from your favorite song, a family member's laugh from a video of when they were still around, or even sounds of your pet while they dream. What sound brings you joy?

Nectar is Trying to Make Automated Shops

So I heard from my local store that Nectar is actually trying to make fully automated stores in an attempt to render budtenders obsolete.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/r9s573PnYLifsHVVA?g_st=ac

Here's a google link to the store in question. They're so ashamed about the whole thing that they don't even want to associate their brand with the store. This is so awful and totally wrong. But at this point I'm completely unsurprised because Nectar has been constantly f@cking over it's employees for years now.

Half the registers aren't even manned most days and the budtenders are constantly overwhelmed. And one of their employees told me recently they have over 50 locations now?! WTF?! If people shop at this clanker store we're going to see Mom and Pop shops disappear overnight. I'm so done with this crap.

Why I know AI "artists" aren't real artists

So in my personal life outside of here I do digital and traditional art pretty frequently and have done so for most of my life. In that time I've gotten to know many artists and there's one thing that I have known to be true of every single one of them.

They all don't show hardly anybody their sketches and other attempts at a finished piece.

The finished product is the main attraction. It's the result of trial and error and potentially multiple renditions before the artist finally decided on one single final draft that is published almost begrudgingly by the artist as they finally decide the public may look upon this product of their labor.

Yet every time I've ever seen a gallery of pictures made by people who ask AI to make certain pictures it's always the same story. For every character with every single different pose there is like five very slightly different versions of the same damn picture. It's like they think their shits made of gold and rather than picking the best image of freaking twelve different versions, they just post every single version of that prompt they made because it took so little effort or thought or any meaningful exertion on their behalf.

So just one of many reasons why pictures assembled by AI and posted by people is so annoying and aggravating whenever I see it. Nobody wants to scroll through a fifty image gallery with realistically only 15 actual, individual pictures and something feels way less impressive when there's twelve variants of the same damn picture they now have to wade through.
