Why do AI bros never consider coloring books to get pretty pictures quickly?

Why do AI bros never consider coloring books to get pretty pictures quickly?

Like, you have the lineart done already. You just gotta put color in. Heck, half the cute anime style they use is very obviously trained on Camilla d'Errico art and she has a ton of coloring books that are high quality. I'm having a bad restless leg day, so I decided to start coloring her Dragons book I got yesterday until my leg calms down. So I guess this is just on my mind.

Apparently u/catgirlkil2 is a plant.

They are in so much denial about a SINGLE PERSON leaving their side that they think shes a plant now.

Pokemon/ Aniimo fan artists this is for you

Psychologically none of you can fathom that Ai will eventually take over and nobody will notice the difference or care 10-15 years from now how art is made.
That pattern repeats every single time a major technological shift hits creative tools.
History Repeating Itself
Digital Drawing Tablets & Photoshop (1990s–2000s): When Adobe Photoshop and digital drawing tablets like Wacom first hit the market, traditional painters declared that digital art "wasn't real art". Purists argued that using an "Undo" button (Ctrl+Z), digital layers, and color pickers was lazy cheating because you didn't have to mix physical paint or master brush control.
The Invention of Photography (1830s–1840s): When cameras were first invented, traditional portrait painters were furious. They claimed photographs took zero skill, were just a mechanical cheat, and that pushing a button on a machine wasn't art compared to spending 80 hours with an oil canvas.
Synthesizers & Digital Audio (1970s–1980s): When electronic synthesizers and drum machines entered music, traditional musicians tried to get them banned, claiming pressing buttons wasn't "real" music production compared to playing a physical guitar or acoustic drums.
The Reality of the Cycle
Every generation builds a standard around the tools they spent years mastering, then instantly tries to gatekeep the space when a new technology simplifies part of the process. Once a tool becomes standard, people forget the original outrage ever existed. In ten years, the exact same cycle will happen all over again with whatever tool comes after generative tech.

Fan art of Zoe

I thought she was super cute. Keep drawing! Your designs are so awesome!

Edit: lol didn't think that many people would zoom in on the ear. I'm usually an animal artist so I heavily referenced a different artist and don't have a great understanding of human anatomy. The hair went over the ear in a way that makes it look really weird, a mistake I hadn't noticed really til people pointed it out. No worries, for anyone worried about it being ai generated I've got a time lapse and sketch layer along with the actual layers unmerged available if ya want to see.

Edit 2: okay okay, I think he gets it now. He apologized even if it wasn't the best wording. He also messaged me privately and said sorry there and we talked through it. He did have some good points, the ear was messed up and if you aren't an artist some of my choices will look suspicious when you are looking for evidence for ai generation. I don't think he meant any malice by it and was just worried something slipped through the cracks. Plus I did just join the subreddit today. (Like 15 minutes before drawing this).

Witty says NO to ai art!

I made this because witty today used a real person (u/catgirlkil2) as a prop for her propaganda in her comic. I decided to do the inverse back to her with a low effort shitpost to bring attention to it.

Utau Zoe?

So, I've been thinking about the possibility of making Zoe into a vocaloid/utau so she can not only inspire people to create art but also help make music.

But here's the thing: I don't have a computer, I don't know anything about utau tech, and I don't have a nice voice

If anyone is willing to help make Kasane Zoe a reality, please let me know, I'll help as much as I can

The drawing is a little consept art I made of her utau design, hope you like it :]

TBF this is kind of my fault for picking fight with them but it's still pathetic

I tried picking on them a little and they fed the AI some mutton. I'm not even pissed off. It's just pointless

Newest oc in the zoeverse: Coroe

Hope you like her (Kloe's gf btw)

Also first oc I've actually made instead of AI genning it, stealing it, or being gifted it

Spamtong

Decided to remake an old gif I did a while back for a draw this as spamton post. I think I really outdid myself this time. Now with more frames too. AI could never. The new one is the first one, the old one was made like 7 or 8 months ago? I only did this because the old way I drew him was bothering me lol

u/Bright-Information34 — 20 hours ago

You can't look at this and tell me it's not a Pro-AI subreddit in disguise

Literally what do they want us to do? Freaking leave any and all social me— WAAAIIITTTT!!! I think I get it... Without us, their GenAIs would fail.

“What if I find art tedious?” THEN MAYBE YOU DONT LIKE MAKING ART??

Don’t know why it was on my feed but found this in r/defendingAiart I swear these people don’t seem capable of understanding that the art IS the process, it’s not about trying to find the quickest shortcut to completion. Make art if you enjoy it, or dont. But you dont get to call yourself an artist if you dont enjoy the PROCESS of making art.

Riiiight, because Im sure it was completely intentional

Of course you were trying to represent people with Polydactyly and this isn’t a pathetic attempt to gaslight people into thinking they’re in the wrong because your crappy tool gave you crap
