What could cause the "Error Count" to be so high? it's increasing at an average of 5 times per second.
This is not happening with my other Bitraxes (All 602 from SoloSatoshi). I included a picture of the specific chip.

I have this copper baseplate and heatsink and I'd like to weld them together with indium foil in between. I tried with a torch till the indium melted but after it cooled down, the bond was weak and I was able to separate them easily. What did I do wrong? Thank you!
I have designed this heatsink that I need for my Bitaxe Gamma board. I can't find anything like it on the market, I'm specifically interested in copper material. What are my best options if I need to make 10 of those? thank you!
Edit: Here are the intial designs. One is skived and the other is with fins. Whatever is easier to manifacture in copper.
Completely clueless about this whole thing. Please feel free to message me and teach me the ways.
The whole appeal of Bitaxe is affordability and accessibility. Why pay this much for 12 TH/s when 37 TH/s costs less?
I have my own power supply and cooling, where can I get a Gamma board that's well made with good components at a sweet price?
Running 4 Bitaxe Gamma 602, 1.2 TH a second each, for 2 weeks now, and still in the Mega range (160M all-time best). wondering if you guys ever hit Giga range, or even Tera? maybe I'm doing somethign wrong IDK!
First time buyer here. So many options out there and I'm worried about getting a bad unit. What do you guys recommend? Also if they do payments that would be a nice to have. thank you!
So competing against pro brute force miners is out of the question, especially if you want to be a solominer. For reference, you would be competing against mining pools that can do quintillions (1,000,000,000,000,000,000) hashes per second.
So I thought, can I just randomize the Nonces and play the lottery every now and then?
My question is, what are the nonce variables that pro hashers brute force? I know it's more than just the 32 bit Nonce.
Also is there mining hardware out there that would let me randomize the Nonces?
thank you!
