[Home Mining] I'm interested in the Canaan Avalon Mini 3. Should I buy now or is there something else coming out soon?

I'm hearing really good things about the new Bitmain BM1373 chip. you guys think anything new might be coming out soon for home mining that's at 40TH rate or more? thanks!

How do you guys monitor your Bitaxe when you're away from home?

I'm considering making a Telegram Bot that can send messages with updates, what do you guys use?

What could cause the "Error Count" to be so high? it's increasing at an average of 5 times per second.

This is not happening with my other Bitraxes (All 602 from SoloSatoshi). I included a picture of the specific chip.

How can I weld heatsink with indium foil?

I have this copper baseplate and heatsink and I'd like to weld them together with indium foil in between. I tried with a torch till the indium melted but after it cooled down, the bond was weak and I was able to separate them easily. What did I do wrong? Thank you!

Where to make a custom heatsink?

I have designed this heatsink that I need for my Bitaxe Gamma board. I can't find anything like it on the market, I'm specifically interested in copper material. What are my best options if I need to make 10 of those? thank you!

Edit: Here are the intial designs. One is skived and the other is with fins. Whatever is easier to manifacture in copper.

[Opinion] These prices go against the spirit of the Bitaxe project

The whole appeal of Bitaxe is affordability and accessibility. Why pay this much for 12 TH/s when 37 TH/s costs less?

Where to buy Gamma without power aupply and cooling at a good price?

I have my own power supply and cooling, where can I get a Gamma board that's well made with good components at a sweet price?

Working on a simple solominer that randomizes the nonce (so more like lottery than brute force). Is that crazy?

So competing against pro brute force miners is out of the question, especially if you want to be a solominer. For reference, you would be competing against mining pools that can do quintillions (1,000,000,000,000,000,000) hashes per second.

So I thought, can I just randomize the Nonces and play the lottery every now and then?

My question is, what are the nonce variables that pro hashers brute force? I know it's more than just the 32 bit Nonce.

Also is there mining hardware out there that would let me randomize the Nonces?

thank you!
