Dynamic SL instability wrist (right side)

I have a wrist problem and I can't seem to find a solution and neither do medical professionals.

DISCLAIMER 1: the X-ray isn't my wrist. I did put the 2 - 2,8 mm in because I think that was the distance the doc told me.
I didn't rupture anything. The doc said the ''band was loose'' whatever that means.

DISCLAIMER 2: Enlgish isn't my native language and I'm not medical schooled. So I'm doing my best to translate everything. Sorry in advance.

The problem started when I couldn't do any push-ups anymore. This seemed to just happen without having a fall/incident or something. I have no clue what caused this injury/condition.

If I put my hands together, like a kind of prayer, I can't go into wrist extension in the same amount my other wrist can. Plus there is pain when I push the right hand back too far.
If I do other pushing motions (heavy dumbbell/barbell press) I don't feel ANY PAIN at all.
Same with pulling motions, no pain at all.

I went to the hospital and the doc ordered some X-rays to be made: hands opened neutral, hands opened palm down and hands in fist postion palms down.
The photo of the hands in fist position, palms down, showed the opening in the SL region.

Medical information given by the doctor:

  • Medical diagnose: Ganglion wrist
  • Explanation diagnose: Dynamic SL instability wrist (right side)
  • Objective: Stability program

I went to a physiotherapist and he gave me some exercises, but here is the weird part:

  1. I have quite alot of strenght in my wrist extension and flexion
  2. My strenght in supination and pronation doesn't seem to be a problem neither

He gave me some stabilisation exercises but I have ZERO progress in my wrist pain and mobilisation.

I don't understand the ganlion part in the diagnose. She told me there was no lump.

If ANYONE has ANY idea what I could do now, I would appreciate it. I'm completly lost and I can't deal with the fact I can't perform a single push up.
