My tank could stay at 80% humidity for days in a row, I have two hygrometers one for the bottom and top of the tank. the bottom normally spikes to 99 when I mist and then will sit at 80. Should I still spray or wait until it drops more? The top normally spikes to 80 when I spray and drops the 60 but normally doesn’t get drier than that.
I know it may seem silly’s but I’m really paranoid and this is the only way I can get the thermometer probes into his enclosure😭 He is a baby btw! About 22 grams if that gives you any more idea about his size since idk if the photos help😅
So I got my gecko, ditto🥺🤭 on Monday and he hasn’t eaten but when I woke up this morning there was what I’m pretty sure are lick marks in his food!!! Can someone just confirm that he has most likely eaten and that’s what those gaps in the food are :3

I have a very vivid memory of having to do a like fact file type thing on an animal when I was like 9 or 10. At the time I was obsessed with leopard geckos but it had to be on an endangered animal so I googled endangered gecko, and I swear on my life gargoyle geckos came up, I mean that’s how I found out about them and started researching them but I just came to find out they aren’t endangered?? But I was wondering if maybe they used to be like how people used to think crested geckos were extinct.
If I had isopods in the Substrait how often would I have to replace it? Would it still have to be replaced every few months or would I be able to go longer. Also how would I get the isopods from the old substrait to put them into the new substrait?
Ok for context I don’t have a gecko yet but I’ve been researching them for a few years and am finally getting one for my birthday in October!!! However isopods to clean up the tank is something I haven’t really researched much😭
