We need another big campaign for Casual. A list of features we want for Valve servers to operate.

We need the matchmaker removed and bring back these server rules.

  • 45-minute map timers.
  • Select and switch teams. CS2 Casual has it.
  • Able to Spectate. CS2 Casual has it.
  • Old map voting system.
    • Vote to extend current map timer, or vote for a new map within the last round.
  • Team scrambles after 2 wins/losses.
  • Ad-hoc connections. CS2 Casual has it.
    • Directly joining the same server your friends are in.

All these rules incentivize longer gameplay. Better for new players to learn and experience the game thanks to those longer games. It would soften the blow from steam rolls when team switching and team scrambling would sort it out. Doesn't matter if a team wins or losses, we'd still have more fun than re-queuing or leaving the game.

I don't care if we bring back Quickplay, or transform Casual into Valve-only Quickplay, we're here for the same game. And these server rules are the key to make TF2 better.
