First of all: This is my first post in this subreddit so Im gonna list my setup first:
TV: Samsung GQ65QN95A
Center: Nupro XS-7500
FL/FR: Nupro XS-8000RC
SL/SR: Nupro XS-4000RC
SUB: Klipsch RP-1600SW
PreAmp: Nuxinema PreAV
Main Content: 4K MKV via Emby/Kodi
I ordered a new TV last week and it is supposed to arrive this week. The TV is a TCL 98C8L which is a lot bigger than my 65". The question for me is now if I should put the center channel in the open part of the cabinet (it would fit with a few centimeters of air to each side) to mount the TV about 16cm lower or if I should keep the setup as it is now and mount the TV with its lower edge just above the center. Even this should be a few cebtimeters lower than it is at the moment but thats just because it will be wallmounted and not on its stand.
Do you have any recommenfations or pros/cons?
