Hi everyone, I have a quick question and would appreciate your advice.

I started working on 24 March 2025. I completed my course requirements on 8 July 2025 as per my degree completion letter, and my graduation ceremony was in August 2025.

My degree is accredited, so I applied for a skills assessment. However, the assessment outcome states that the recognised qualification was “awarded in August 2025.”

I’m confused because my completion letter clearly says I completed the course requirements in July 2025.

So the question is, can I claim 1 year working points from July 8th onwards or August?
