Unlimited OG flyers

Grabbed these, had the Sengir. Always such an upgrade over Revised, of which I now have the whole damn set of thanks to old starter boxes in 1994 and eBay of recent.

This week’s pickups - $125 scores a bunch of 1994 goodness

Pox being the exception as Ice Age was 1995, but these are really great shape Revised staples - Mahamoti, Doppelgänger, 2 Lords and 2 Royal Assassins. The Twiddle, Instill and 2x Volcanic Eruption are Unlimited and gorgeous condition. A clean Maze of Ith is hard to find for a good price. Real happy with this score. I will be cleaning up on old school deals until I get sick of it I guess.

Legends cards that I look at often

I love combining my old cards with ones I can now own. I get a rare a week lately. It’s a nice reminder of being a kid but having adult income. And if the values go down I’ll just buy more. Win win. 32 yrs with some of these cards. I will always love the Legends set.

A nicely worn 32 yr old card

A very well used Maze of Ith from 1994 The Dark. You can’t fake this kind of aging, as Rudy says. One of the first rares I ever pulled in a real The Dark pack. I think I paid 2.95 for the pack, first month I started playing. They were out of print by then. Table was the family’s original oak kitchen table as a teen, which now is in my rec room. Life is a circle.

Dropped some reserved lists down the basement stairs

Dont drink and sleeve. Tried to take my huge commons box and my card holders at the same time. Not pictured, Tabernacle under the stairs and a mint Timetwister half out of the case.

Some early/reserved list family photo

Been cataloguing and enjoying some of my best rares and uncommons. Favorite Art: Hellfire, Legends, 1994. Favorite Flavor Text: “The warm rain of grease on my face made it immediately clear I had entered Phyrexia” - Jarsyl, Diary “Gate to Phyrexia, Antiquities, 1994”.
