I got Ceuta!

What do you guys think? I know that’s a pretty weird place overall, do you think it’s still worth doing? Do any of you have experience there?

to be clear, I’m open to it, I put it as my third place because I felt putting it there would increase my chances of being picked, and clearly that worked lol

How often do you guys actually encounter the people you hate?

I am 24 and have lived in South Florida just about my whole life. There are many things I hate about Miami, many of them things I see talked about here a lot, but there are certain recurring subjects on this sub that baffle my mind.

I pretty much never encounter these OF models, scammers, or petty influencers you all seem to be driven up the wall by. Sure, I know they exist, some may be friends of friends of friends, but they are damn easy to avoid. Is everyone on this sub Clavicular's neighbor in Brickell or something? I have tons of great friends here, and I meet great people all the time. People into music, art, film, people in the medical field, people from all over the world. I can count on one hand the amount of scamming OF model types that I have encountered here.

As I get ready to go to grad school out of state (and I am very excited/hopeful to live somewhere new), one of the things I know I'll miss about Miami is how obviously shallow many people are. They make themselves ridiculously easy to avoid, and make the cool people easy to spot.

BEDA or NALCAP?

So, I applied for and interviewed with BEDA back in March. I didn't think I'd get it because 1. My interview went pretty poorly in my view and 2. with all the other aux programs shuttering, BEDA would have stiff competition so I probably wouldn't get it.

With the months of April and May going by with no word from them, I really thought that was it. Then NALCAP all of a sudden opened, and my hope was back. I applied just hours after the call went out, which is a reversal of what I did last year. (my rec letter came in just two days before the call closed.)

Then, this morning, I get an email that I was selected for BEDA! This is great, but it presents a problem. I think I want NALCAP (assuming I am accepted) more because it seems BEDA is more expensive and demands more, but honestly, as I have no experience with any of this, I'd appreciate some feedback.

If you were in my position, what would you do?
