MyWhoosh - difference in power data from game and from trainer.
Hi everybody,
Because I received warnings from the RaceControl Team over my last few rides stating that my main power source did not match my secondary source, I conducted a small test during this week's final SRC ride. I registered data from five different points for comparison:
- First point: Official data stored in the MW game, where the Kickr V5 was connected as the main power source (with resistance controlled via Bluetooth), and the secondary power source was the Assioma Duo Pro pedals.
- Second point: Data from a second MW game instance running on another laptop, passively recording power via Direct Connect (Ethernet).
- Third point: Data from the Kickr V5 passively recording power on an Edge 1040 via ANT+.
- Fourth point: Data from the Assioma Pro pedals recorded on a third MW client running on a tablet.
- Fifth point: Data from the Giant Power Pro crank power meter recorded on an Edge 1040 Solar.
As you can see, the data from point 1 is clearly different from the data collected at the other four points.
Of course i recieved ANL from ride
How its possible that power data from the same source Kickr V5 are so different in MW with control than other ones?
anybody have experience with that?
i google little bit and found that it could be DATA OVER REPORTING or control loop lag.
what i could do to "fix" it. i just want ride without stress that my effort at the end will be canceled.
Anyone any idea?
Thanks in advance.
