An abscess between the gum and a 3 month old implant draining pus and blood. No pain. Doctor said not to worry about it
Anyways. I've had an implant installed in one of my molars 3 months ago. Everything went fine, but over the last few days I started feeling the outer part of my gum near that implant swell up a bit. No pain, but over the day it was visibly and palpably swollen. I poked it a bit and a bit of pus drained from it. I called my dentist and went for a checkup - they couldn't find anything wrong and the X-Ray was "perfect", as they've said.
The problem is that the swelling came back after a day, and about an hour ago A LOT of pus drained from between the gum and the implant. Blood too. I disinfected it with chlorohexedine, but I am still concerned.
There's no pain during all of this, just a bit of tenderness from the swollen gum pressure. Should I go to a different dentist or could this be something minor?
