Just the date remains, any idea what this coin is?

Hi all, pulled this copper coin out of a $1 bin at a coin shop about 20 years ago and I’ve held on to it since then. It’s worn almost entirely flat and the date only survived because it’s stamped into it as opposed to raised with the rest of the relief. There’s the faintest remains of a bust on the obverse side. Figure it’s a long shot but I’ve always been curious if there’s any chance of identifying it considering how odd the date being sunken in like that is.

Tiny perfume bottle with handles, looking for information!

Hi all, I was at an estate sale last weekend that was full of antiques from around the world. I found this nestled on a shelf and it ended up coming home with me. I collect antique bottles and I’m very familiar with anything c. 18th century and newer, but I’ve no experience with anything older, and this one has stumped me. The lack of pontil scar on the base has me leaning towards this being a relatively modern piece of art glass, but if anyone here with older/ancient glass experience has any input I’d be greatly appreciative! The glass is lightbulb-thin, for extra info’s sake.

Thrift find, Fenton maybe? Looking for help with ID!

Hi y’all, hoping for some help with this pretty decanter I pulled out of the thrift yesterday. It measures 9” tall, is hand blown in mold (can see a couple faint mold seam lines), full of bubbles in the glass, and has a rough open pontil mark. Neck is clearly stretched and has a wavy lip finish. The glass appears to be clear with a thin layer of pink glass coating the inside and fading out entirely towards the base. Stopper is missing unfortunately, and the neck is ground down in places where it once fit.

I’m completely stumped trying to find something exactly like it- it looks like a Fenton piece a bit, but several elements don’t really match. I collect antique bottles specifically and the production technique and (especially) the pontil shape seem very similar to French figural bottles of the late 19th-early 20th century, but that may be purely a coincidence. Any ideas appreciated!

Last weeks haul

Went to check on a listing for 3000 records last week. Didnt count them, but wow. I was worried they wouldn’t all fit in my truck after seeing them. Luckily, got them home safely. Still going through them to pick out keepers.

Little 1850’s-60’s Harris & Morse Hair Dye bottle, where’s it from?

I decided to go antiquing yesterday and I found this in a booth for $22 and I was like, damn okay I don’t really collect hair dye bottles but that is a good price for even the most common embossed and pontiled bottles out there so I grabbed it. While trying to research it I discovered that there’s… really nothing on it aside from it being noted on Hair Raising Stories with no further description. Guess it’s an extremely rare one?

Anyways, reason I’m posting this here is I really want to know what city it’s from because it’s inexplicably not embossed on it. I am in Maryland and after searching period correct directories in several big cities up the east coast I came up empty handed. Would monumentally appreciate if anyone could pinpoint where J. B. Harris & co. was located, I’ve pretty much exhausted my resources.

High hot/cold/pressure sensitivity for months after filling, looking for advice

Hoping to get some opinions on how to handle the situation I'm in. Basically, last year I decided I was going to finally start getting my dental issues fixed after getting all my wisdom teeth extracted. I'm 31/M and in good general health I'd say otherwise, but my teeth aren't pristine due to some less than stellar care in my late teens-early 20's. So far I've had a root canal and 7 or so fillings done, all resin, and everything has been fine up until late last year when I got a shallow cavity filled on the side of my upper right back molar. I was met with some hot/cold/pressure sensitivity initially that was rather strong and caused lingering pain long after the source of cold/heat was removed, and it's now 5 months later and I'm still experiencing those symptoms. I also will occasionally get a painless feeling of pressure/throbbing in the adjacent gums while working out, especially if I dip my head downwards.

I went back a few months later and got a second small filling done on the top of the same molar. It has gotten slightly better over the months (doesn't randomly ache to the point of needing advil), but I still can not eat or drink on that side of my mouth. I've gone back to the dentist multiple times for reshaping of the second filling (it was sitting too high at first, it now sits perfectly) and inspecting for damage, both in person visual and via x-ray, and the dentist isn't seeing anything wrong with the fillings or any anomalies in the x-ray. She is at a loss and is advocating for a night guard, and if that fails, a root canal.

At this point I'm dubious of the night guard being of any help here as there isn't any resting pressure on that tooth even if I clench my teeth and I don't wake up with jaw pain, but I am willing to give it a shot if others think that'll have an effect. As much as I don't want to I'm about ready to go for the nuclear option and get the RC done because the discomfort and pain is really bringing me down at this point. Is there anything else you think I should try before going that rout? Thanks in advance.
