Succession War Arc and the modern world
I was just watching the Tucker Carlson podcast where he had a guest on who is an orthodox Christian. Around the 37 minute mark of the conversation. The guest goes into ceremonial rituals for the next king or ruler in a few different countries and cultures and I couldn’t help but notice Japan was brought up and it immediately reminded me of the current arc of our beloved manga. It goes very in depth as to what happens in these rituals…..it seems many ancient cultures did this while not being in contact with each other….
The dark continent is basically what was described in Sumerian cuneiform texts about a world outside of our world ..
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Togashi pulls from a lot of esoteric and ancient traditions / knowledge and weaves it into his stories ..even going back to Yu Yu hakusho there’s elements of these things.
