[RevShare] Unity Programmer and Rendering Engineer looking for a project | Open to Paid as well

Hey r/INAT! I'm Moritz, a rendering engineer and Unity programmer from Germany looking to join a game project. I'm open to RevShare and paid opportunities, remote only.

My background is a mix of deep technical graphics programming and hands-on game development. I spent four years researching real-time rendering and ray tracing at a university level, published a paper on ray tracing memory optimization, and built my own C++ rendering engine from scratch with path tracing, Vulkan and OpenGL support, BVH acceleration and a full editor UI.

On the Unity side, I recently shipped a complete FPS game at Global Game Jam 2026, where I handled the character controller, camera system, health system, VFX, scene transitions and more, all within 48 hours. I'm comfortable building gameplay systems from the ground up and working as part of a small team under time pressure.

What I can bring to your project:

I'm comfortable across the full range of Unity development, from gameplay systems and physics to shaders, VFX and anything technical on the graphics side.

I'm most excited about projects that care about visual quality, whether that's stylized art, interesting lighting, or satisfying game feel. If you have something ambitious going and need a programmer who also understands how the renderer works, I'd love to hear about it.
