what do you guys think will be the cutoff this year and which year will they represent the most will they be lower or higher than 2025? Also how much is the difference in moderated and raw score usually (droppers pls help) and can 284 land me mnc in pilani?
with what logic are they arriving at 130=15k rank? they are well educated and double digit rankers in jee no way they can be this dumb right? is something going on??
cutoff agr 75 assume kre (ab bakchodi mt krna ki kuch aur krlo around 2025 jaisa hi jayega) to around 34k students qualify krenge jee advanced (cutoff was 74 in jee adv 2025)
Ok so presuming that 34k candidates will qualify jee adv from open category and assuming 75 as the cutoff (or below 80 works nearly the same) then:-
mathongo total scorers above 75-->25346 (meaning 8-8.5k are left)
so using basic maths we can see that 3/4 of every single qualifier in india has already uploaded his marks on mathongo (crazy achievement of anup diddy btw)
another thing is that only ~50k students have submitted their data out of ~1.8 lakhs which means even less than 1/3rd of the total pool has submitted which means that the rest of the marks will only balloon the non qualified region barely affecting the qualifying region.
Now let's get to the real part --> RANK INFLATION AT LINEAR SCALING
many people are terrified of linear scaling but trust me im not gonna just be like 50k/2 lakhs have submitted so 4x your rank cuz that's stupid
from the math we did we figured out ~8k ish students who have qualified jee advanced 2026 have not submitted data to anup diddy till now and from the distribution curve of the people >75 and ASSUMING THAT THE REMAINING 8K FOLLOW THE SIMILAR CURVE (which is extremely harsh ye nahi hone wala they are going to be below average)
out of 8k
75-100 range-->10885*8000/25346--->3435 kids
100-120 range-->5913*8000/25346--->1866 kids
120-130 range-->2000*8000/25346-->631 kids
130-135 range-->838*8000/25346-->264 kids
135-140 range--->229 kids
140-145 range--->218 kids
remaining-->8000-3435-1866-631-264-229-218=1357 kids (these kids will score 145+)
so purely through linear scaling
if you scored 120-->your rank on mathongo+631+264+229+218+1357
if you scored 130-->rank+264+229+218+1357
if you scored 135-->rank+229+218+1357
so yeah that's it guys i think you all can extrapolate for other ranks similarly. Pls upvote this post it took a lot of effort
