Which characters had the most wasted potential

To be specific, you don’t have to vote for one of the characters I put up. You can vote for your own character that you think should be on her too. Anyways, I think these characters could have been so much more. Here’s why.

Mike

He was supposed to one of the people who robbed Christa and Clementine at the beginning, but that was scrapped. I have no idea why, it would have been awesome. You were supposed to have a hard time trusting someone who robbed you and possibly killed Christa. You can tell that that was scrapped at the very last second because one of the characters that robbed you looked just like him but with less facial hair and no scars. And Mike having those scars and no explanation just feels unfinished. Don’t know why they scrapped this because it would have been amazing.

Duck and Sarah

I’m putting both of them in the same category because I feel that they were kind of wasted for similar reasons. I just think it would have been very cool to have them evolve from scared children to warriors. Clementine did that and she was brave from the start. I think it would be amazing if people who weren’t as brave as she was at a young age evolved to be like her. I also wanted to mention, teaching Sarah to use the gun was a pretty good decision that could have made her so much more. The game literally tells you that you taught Sarah to defend herself. She should have at least used the gun at some point in time.

Nick and Walter

Putting them in the same category too because I think they would have been amazing while being part of the team together. I think Walter and Nick would be a good addition to the team for more than two episodes. We could have seen character development between the two since Walter hates Nick. There could have been a running hatred between the two and you would have to try and get them to get along. Kind of like a similar situation to Kenny and Jane at the end of Season 2.

Luke

Might be surprised he’s on this list because unlike most characters, he was around for the majority of his main season. The reason I am including him is because he was meant to be part of the Season 2 ending. Don’t know why they chose Jane instead, having Luke be part of it makes it a harder choice to choose between him and Kenny. Luke had a lot of potential that was just thrown in the garbage.

You agree with my opinions? And also, what are characters that you want to bring up? Let me know what you think.

Video Idea: Strangest things that were marked for kids on YouTube.

If you didn’t know, YouTube is stupid sometimes and decides to mark videos for kids even though you literally have the option to mark it manually. My example is Hazbin Hotel. Both Bad With Us and Losing Streak (songs from the show) were marked for kids for a brief period of time.

Could we see Programmer021 again? And also, who exactly is this person?

In case you’re unaware, Alan was texting this mysterious person on how to beat The Chosen One. I am wondering if you think we’ll either hear about them or even see them.

I feel like we should see them again since they’re one of the most mysterious characters in the entire series. They’re so mysterious because they appear to be the only human other than Alan who knows about the sentient stick figures. The fact that they immediately knew who Alan was talking about after he just said “The stick figure” leads me to believe that they’re the person who made the symbol thing that makes the stick figures come to life.

I’m confused about how Alan got that thing. Maybe the programmer was friends with Alan and installed “Convert to symbol” tool on Alan’s PC.

I was just thinking about this programmer guy because with Orange trapped and Victim possessed, I think the programmer could be one of the only few characters who could actually find a way to beat The Dark Lord.

Do you think they’ll ever be seen again?

Huge plot hole that I’m confused about

There have been numerous instances of Alan’s videos on YouTube within the storyline of the Animation Verse (that what I’ll call Alan’s universe because I don’t know what else to call it) I don’t get how his videos can exist in a universe where the stick gang is real. I do have a couple theories, but it’s still hard to tell.

Since you see a file name that has one of the videos on it in the second image, I’m theorizing that maybe Alan is a YouTuber in his Animation Verse just like he is in real life and he simply creates animations of things that his stick figure friends do that they maybe texted him about. Alan could be like a story time YouTuber and he’s showing instead of telling what his friends do by animating them. My problem with this theory is that the things he animates shouldn’t be exactly identical to what actually happened. When you watch Animation Vs YouTube, it literally plays the exact episode of AVA that exists in real life. Nothing can be replicated exactly, so it shouldn’t be the exact same video if Alan is just animating things that happened to his stick figures.

That leaves me to believe the same thing that Alan is a YouTuber but he just posts what happens to his friends that he recorded. My problem is this: how did they get recorded? I’m sure Alan can screen record in his computer, but that doesn’t explain the videos that were taken in The Outernet or the world of Minecraft. How did he get that footage and who recorded it? And on top of that, does he have cameras in his room to catch footage of his every move? I’m talking about the live action scenes of Alan on his computer. How did he capture what he did on camera?

Another thing: If Alan’s videos truly did exist on YouTube in The Animation Verse, how did nobody recognize The Stick Figures in the Bedwars games? If he’s popular enough to have his characters on Google when Alexcrafter looked up stick figures, that should mean that people would recognize the stick figures especially if Alan is as popular in The Animation Verse as he is in real life. In the video, nobody mentions Alan Becker in both the Twitch chat or YouTube when the YouTubers address the stick figures.

I feel like Alan should have left his videos and channel out of his universe. No offense to Alan, but it’s not like he’s as important to YouTube as someone like George Washington was to The United States where it wouldn’t exist without him. If he had just left his channel out of his universe, this huge plot hole could have been avoided.

I think you can see why this doesn’t make sense at all. Every theory that I came up with has something wrong about it. What do you think? There’s nothing I can think about that makes sense in even most ways, let alone all ways.

What would you change about this series?

I see a lot of people hate on the series for their decisions. The most common ones I see are usually about Christa’s disappearance which I definitely agree with.

In my opinion, I want more ending options. I also don’t like how pointless they are. When I want to end up with Kenny in Season 2, it was a big disappointment that they just killed him and made the ending of Season 2 pointless. Same thing happens with the other games. On top of that, the choices in general are just pointless. Doug/Carley should have lived longer if Telltale really wanted the choice to feel like it meant something.

I also really want to change the amount of deaths. I don’t dislike the fact that the characters die sometimes. There are only 5 episodes to do things in, it makes sense to get rid of a few of the characters in one episode in order to make it more interesting. But my thing is that it happens way too much. I am pretty disappointed that Clementine and Aj were the ONLY ONES that we saw survive through multiple seasons and still managed to make it to the end. I would definitely make it so more than two people would survive through multiple season in the end. This is something that a lot of media is guilty of, they kill off a character as soon as they get introduced. I really hate that. They did it to characters like Shawn, Mark, Chuck, Pete (the one from S2), Walter, Reggie, and there’s probably more that I can’t think of right now. That is way too much.

Anyways, what would you change about the games? I would like to know what you all would think would make it better.
