Title: The Walking Dead: Season 5 – The Final, But Not The End

The Pitch

A multi-generational survival epic that bridges the gap between legendary survivors and a new tactical generation. Players choose their perspective at the start: Ari, a tactical visionary and leader of the "Bay" community, or Clementine, the iconic survivor.

The Story

After the Delta kidnaps Ari’s daughter, Abby, and leaves his brother-in-arms, Eric, near death, Ari and his partner, Hama, launch a war against the Delta. Their path converges with Clementine and AJ at the Ericson Boarding School. Together, they must dismantle the Delta before they are destroyed by the very "monster" Ari spent years trying to bury.

Key Features

Perspective System: Play the entire game as either Ari or Clementine; both stories offer unique vantage points on the same war.

Legacy System: AJ observes your actions as a leader. Your tactics and moral choices directly shape his growth.

The Trinity: A story of brotherhood featuring Ari, Hama, and Eric—three legendary survivors who have endured the impossible together.

Conditional Romance: Deepen your bonds with key characters based on player choices and existing relationships.

The Diary of Judgment: A gameplay mechanic tracking the moral cost of every kill Ari makes.

The Cast

Ari: Former child-killer turned "Tactical Philosopher."

Hama & Eric: Legendary survivors and the pillars of Ari’s brotherhood.

Clementine & AJ: The legendary survivors who become the "Future" of the world.

Abby: Ari’s daughter; the heart of the rebellion.

The Ghosts: Michael (Ari’s past mentor) and Lilly (The Delta’s revenge).

Bruh i'm sick of Kenny's irrationality lock in ur a grown man

Im playing s2 for the first time, just started ep3 where theyre in Carver's truck so please PLEASE no spoilers i just wanted to vent my frustrations to the void i guess

But yeah. His mental state is totally understandable considering everything he's been through so i get why he is the way he is but its so hard to interact with him 😭 I like Kenny but he is just genuinely irrational and has, respectfully, usually horrible ideas that usually fail but he's too stubborn to accept any other idea or solution. Even after said failure. In s1 i went along with the boat plan because im always loyal to my video game BFFs even though most of the time, especially after getting to Savannah, i knew it was fucked and it was crazy that he stuck to that plan for as long as he did. In s2 so far this dude is actually a loose screw. I want to keep him happy but he makes it really hard because anytime Clementine, an 11 year old mind you, even slightly disagrees with him he loses it. Again, i like Kenny, but why is he so damn unreasonable and unhinged???

I'm more just ranting because i have nobody to talk about this with than complaining btw, again his mental state makes total sense its just kinda frustrating lol

Guilt over killing Kenny

I recently came to the point in season two of the game where I had the option to save Jane or look away. I shot Kenny and immediately regretted it. I know the game will move on but I really wanted to continue with Kenny for longer. I don’t feel like playing the game right now bc of the choice and I wanna know if it’s a big deal that I killed him. With no spoilers I just wanna know if it’s really something I should regret or just suck it up and keep playing bc the story is just as good without him. It’s eating me up a little.

Any other games that can give the emotion of twd?

What other games did you play that gave you the feel of twd? The trauma, the sadness, the emotion, everything. The attachment to the characters and so on.

I played rdr2, the last of us and those are at the same level like this, mastepieces . But what about other games?

Young Adult Clem Design [OC]

I think short hair would be super cool for an adult Clem iteration. I don’t really like Jane so I was hesitant to give Clem a similar cut, but with their different hair textures I think she makes it her own. I think s3 has the best features for an older Clem, so I drew more inspo from there than s4. Hope yall like it!

Who is each group leader throughout the games?

I'm talking main group, as all of the other groups have prominent leaders.

S1-Ep 1-2 - I'd say lily.

S1-Ep2-4 - Kenny. Although Lee makes decisions kenny ultimately decides where the group goes and what they will do.

S1-Ep5 - probably Lee. As kenny is messed up at this point and most of the major decisions fall into the players lap.

S2-Ep1-3 - Carlos. He is the doctor and the main reason alongside luke that they got out in the first place

S2-Ep4-5 - kenny, again decides to go to Wellington and delivers AJ making him the most qualified candidate

S3- Javi is the obvious leader. He literally does everything. Tripp and Joan have their own communities so for our main group we've gotta go with the player.

S4-Ep 1- Marlon

S4-Ep 2-end - clem. Although I'll give the romantic choice for the player a right hand position as they do impact the group alot

Anyone disagree or wanna add to my opinions?

TWDS1E3

Have you ever noticed this in The Walking Dead Season 1 ?

if you look closely at the cover art or menu screen for episode 3, duck is shown looking completely healthy and happy!

meanwhile, this is the episode that before season 3 the tragedy happens and he dies! Does this mean duck wasn't originally supposed to die and the story was changed ?

Based on the video games you've played and the characters you've seen, where in your top characters list would you place Clementine?

Sin duda, para mí, en la historia de los videojuegos, ella es la número uno. No recuerdo otro personaje que me haya hecho llorar y sonreír de felicidad como ella. And I doubt any other character would do the same.

Season 2 rant and personal comparison to Season 1

Hello all, I have recently finished my first-ever playthrough of S1 and S2, and I needed to get a few things off my chest (late to the party, I know).

  1. My biggest issue with S2 is the cast.

From the start of episode 1, I didn't like anyone from the new group (except Pete and, to an extent, Nick), so I was hoping to just find Christa and ditch all of them. I was forced to travel with these people, so let me point out the worst part about all of them.

My biggest issue with the S2 cast is incompetence and constant moaning.

I am not even mad about them letting me do everything because at the end of the day I am playing as Clem and want to do stuff. Yeah, it could have been written better, but it wasn't the worst thing about the writing/cast.

  • Everyone is getting on Kenny's nerves because they think his plans suck, but when you ask them what they think we should do, it's always "I don't know," "Let's rest," "Let's wait and see"... How about YOU wait and see while Kenny and I leave you here? Without going into too much detail about each character, I will only point out some of Luke's strikes against him in my book, since he is the people's favorite in this new group.
    • Never thought ahead or had a plan, or when he did, screwed it up himself (letting himself get caught stealing FOOD when trying to let us out of Carver's compound.
    • Wanted to lie about Nick killing Walter's friend.
    • Doesn't take accountability and doesn't want to make hard decisions—spending two hours with Sarah in the trailer only for Clem to have to make the decision with him just standing there - if you wanted to save her so bad, then die fighting the walkers at the door for/with her; that's what I would've done if it were Lee or Kenny. Don't try to pin this situation on me.
    • Luke's not all bad - he did have redeeming qualities, and I am in no way hating on him; I am just letting you know why I wouldn't even want to travel with the 2nd most capable person in the new group (after Jane). He did have a touching death, and he did save Clem underwater if you tried to help him. He was an undecisive good guy that had the bad luck of being surrounded by even more undecisive people.
  • Making objectively bad decisions just to be portrayed as good people—Carver might've been a murderer and a psychopath, but I think he was right about this group. Remind me, why exactly did we drag Arvo with us after he helped the Russians ambush us? Because we had two choices - shoot him or cut him loose to fend for himself. Dragging him with us IS NOT an option, ever. What are we hoping to accomplish? Reform him? He already told us where the cabin is; I think we can manage to find the food in there ourselves, thank you. Or at least cut him loose after getting the food if you don't want to shoot him. Dragging him like a prisoner only made him hate us more, so he was a ticking time bomb. Imagine my "surprise" when things turned to shit because of him. Bonnie was trash anyway, but Mike let me down there. How stupid can you be to escape with all the food and leave a newborn with nothing? Because of what? Because Arvo is a cripple? Because you are scared of Kenny? Cmon...
  • The cast acted mostly like carbon copies of the S1 cast but waaay worse. Just as an example, Carlos wanted to protect his daughter like Larry did, but Larry let her be her own person and didn't shield her stupidly from everything that's happening, and that's why I could understand him completely. We had differences, but I never disliked him. His daughter was also one of the strongest characters in the group. Carlos, though - no relatability whatsoever.

All in all, as a standalone season, I would've liked it a lot more, I think. As a continuation of S1, not so much, but it had its moments. As with Luke, I am not hating on the whole season or the game itself, just a few things that made me feel a certain way while playing, which is the whole point anyway, so good job to Telltale for that.

Even though I liked Jane because she was the only truly competent person in the new group, the ending was a no-brainer for me, and letting me actually walk off with Kenny and AJ into the sunset as I wanted to do during the whole season was a great touch. My Lee told Christa and Omid that I want Kenny to watch over her anyway, so I was glad that happened. He is a hothead and has his problems, but who doesn't? In a way, he is the last thing Clem has of Lee (and her cap), and I also know he will protect her with all he's got.

Onto S3 now.

The girl at the Motor Inn

Who nailed up the boards outside the room? It’s implied that she barricaded herself in there, but why are the boards nailed up outside the room?
