I am replacing the passenger side Cv Axel on my 2018 ram 1500. The cv axel disconnected from the intermediate shaft. I am now having a hard time removing the shaft. Tried taking off the ring and tapping on the groove toward the wheel well, could not get it to budge. Just rented a slide hammer with cv adapter fork. Using an exhaust clamp over the notch I was able to create a point for the slide adapter to sit behind but not having luck with that. Any other suggestions I can try. Thanks in advanced.
