My partner takes daily medication (Ritalin) for ADHD. I have read that even properly declaring ADHD medications with a psychiatrist letter and prescription can cause serious problems through customs. Has anyone had any experiences with this type of thing?
We have booked 9 days in Nusa Dua, staying at the Sofitel for my wife’s 50th with our 12 year old son in November. I was really excited and looking forward to it but now really starting to regret it after reading about how common Bali belly and other sicknesses are, even within a 5 star resort. We’ve already organised the standard vaccinations, probiotic plan and comprehensive travel insurance but just wondering if there is anything else anyone recommends? Has anyone contracted Bali belly or any other serious illnesses in the Nusa Dua enclave? If so, how was the medical care?
