hiding scars during the summer
i actually made a whole account just to post this, as this is pretty important to me and i’m not really sure where else to go so hopefully someone can help with this. i’ve been self-harming for a while, probably a few years now, but used methods other than cutting. however, i started using a razor to do it and am now addicted to it. i don’t go very deep, but deep enough that it definitely leaves a mark that lasts for a while and i also don’t feel any desire to stop even though summer is coming up and i wont be able to hide the cuts. i live with my mother and sister, who has also self-harmed in the past, and after seeing my mother’s reaction to hers (not that it was horrible but she doesn’t understand it), i really don’t want her to notice mine. how would i go about hiding my cuts when wearing swimsuits and whatnot? they’re on my upper thighs so that’s really the only clothing im worried about.
