I'm lucky.enough to have about 1500 per month in absolutely disposable finances per month, after all expenses plus some 'fun' money. What's the very best use I can put it to?

I've already got this year's ISA maxed out. I've also got about 40000+ in NS&I that I'm not super keen on moving as I've been lucky so far, and a bit of play money (1200ish in stocks). I've also got about 70k in savings

Honour (or honor, if you're inclined to spell it that way) should hold a higher regard in society.

Not ostensibly an unpopular opinion, but it practice it seems to be. A person's word should be their bond. If the world at large would be able to trust a person's handshake, then we would live in a more decent society. If you say you're going to a thing, or conversely not do thing,.you should feel absolutely bound by that, regardless of cost or circumstances or any other excuse you can think of to the contrary.

The only folks I've found that seem to be bound by that are drug addicts and members of the armed forces. I draw no parallel between tthem, but only remark on that if they say they will do a thing, then you can rest assured that thing will be done, without cajoling, reminding or hinting.

When someone gives their word, it should be sacrosanct and come above any other consideration.

(Edit: an awful lot of people seem to be hung up on the EXAMPLES I gave, and do not address my point. Honour should be held to a higher standard than it currently is, whether it's in personal, professional, political or any other kind of dealings)
