Budget starter setup?
Just moved into a house with a home theater in the basement. We probably wouldn't have added one but it's a nice space so we're trying to figure out what we can do with it to have a space to relax without spending thousands of dollars when we have a ton of other new house projects going on.
The room is 18'x12' (8' ceilings) with 2 rows of seating (2 levels) which is currently our old couches. Seats face a 12' wall. It is wired for speakers throughout and a projector in the ceiling and is 100% dark when the door is shut.
I am a total noob to this stuff. Should we look for a budget projector and a couple speakers for now? Is this something we can build onto if we find ourselves using the space a lot? What should I look for/avoid? Thank you!
