hello everyone! i’m traveling with my ball python across the country (illinois to texas) and i was wondering what the best ideas would be to keep my snake both warm & safe on this ride! unfortunately i have no other option but for my dad to drive me from il to tx and he is a smoker. he insists on smoking in the car, having no compassion or care for my snakes weak respiratory system. what’s my best choice of protective concealment for her? i don’t feel comfortable leaving her in the trunk given the crazy heat of the south in june! i do not feel comfortable shipping her so far!
also, this trip is about 4-5 days long given my family wants to stop in other states. my boyfriend has a flight leaving the day before im supposed to start my roadtrip. he has a flight with southwest, is there anyway he’d be able to take my snake on the plane? either as a checked bag or carry on?
