My phone touchscreen suddenly stopped working after possible moisture exposure
Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy A30 and today the touchscreen suddenly stopped responding completely.
The weird thing is:
- the display still looks perfectly normal
- power and volume buttons work
- the phone itself still works
- I connected a mouse with OTG and I can control the phone normally
At one point the screen started flickering for a while, but then it stopped.
I don’t think it’s physical damage because the phone never fell or got hit. I suspect moisture/humidity because this happened before in a smaller way. Also, the fingerprint unlock on the screen stopped working too.
Right now I turned the phone off and I’m letting it dry.
