A joke to lighten things up, I hope.

Charles Jackson, the author of the semi-autobiographical book The Lost Weekend, defined an alcoholic as follows: An alcoholic is someone who can take a drink or leave it. So he takes it.

So how about the following definition of an anorexic: An anorexic is someone who can take food or leave it. So she leaves it.

When I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, humor helped me.

Questions about Alberta Premium Cask Strength 10 year old rye.

Out of curiosity, is Alberta Premium Cask Strength 10 year old rye artificially coloured? Is it chill filtered?

Is this whisky partly distilled in a column still? The box the whisky comes in only mentions pot still.

The box also says the whisky was aged 10 years in new white oak charred casks. Were any used oak casks used in production? Was whisky aged for 10 years in new oak, and also, at least in part, aged in used casks?

Thank you.

Appleton Estate 21 year old, different editions.

Is Appleton Estate 21 year old Nassau Valley casks different rum than older versions of Appleton 21 year old that did not mention Nassau Valley casks? Or is this just a change of label? Thank you.

El Dorado 25 year old. 1997 vs. 1998 vintage.

Has anyone tried both the 1997 and 1998 vintage of the El Dorado 25 year rum? How do they compare? Thank you.
