Me and my boyfriend have had an accepted offer on a house and on the stage of applying for a mortgage. I’ve currently got a student overdraft of £3250 and I’m on £3200 of it now, my dad has offered to either pay it off or give us the money to add extra to the deposit. I’m wanting to know which of these is best and also how it will look on my application for both ways. To add more context my boyfriend has good credit and no dept like myself.
