S2 E6 The High Road: I love to quibble over“lazy writing” scenes or lines. (since there aren’t many)

At the end when the “number” gets his resolve and farewell visit from John. The wife answers the door first and gets to thank John privately in person and then goes into the house to let John and the husband “have their moment”.
The husband steps out onto the lawn, talking about his house arrest anklet and says “…I get to pay my debt mowing my lawn”.
Right then the wife(who is a really good actress) pops out the front door way and says, “Graham, the washing machine is making that sound again”.
Cracks me up every time.
She can’t wait a few more minutes?
John just saved the dudes future and she thinks that’s a valid interruption? I’d get it if she was portraying a very neurotic character but that’s not the case.
The writers thought they had to strengthen the whole criminal turned domestic guy thing but it’s totally out of place.

S1, E15 Blue Code…the fake killing and burning of John Reese.

Don’t know why I’m fixated on that scene but the undercover agent who slips a flashlight in Johns’ pocket before they ignite the car. He’s the last to pour a gas can in the back window and he pours most of it right where John’s head would be. I’m thinking his jug had water in it. It’s as if he was trying to wet down that exact spot to slow the heat/flames. Yeah?

First 22lr, optics? Sleeve on butt extender?

I basically got the cheapest bare bones model with iron sights to do a Magpul Hunter X-22 build.
It’s the current model with the 2.5lb trigger set and receiver clean out hole.
I do kinda like the classic birch. Wondering if I should get accessories to make it more functional as is or just skip straight to the Magpul swap.
I also already have a Sig Romeo5 to try out on it. Open to other ideas for optics and comb height hacks on a classic wood stock.

This pipe tobacco is my new favorite “flavor enhancer”

So it all started with experimenting with darker leaves to simulate the ol Sherman MCDs.
I was getting the mystery bags from LeafOnly(there’s cigar leaves and RYO varieties all mixed together) and every once in a while I’d get the Sherman MCD experience but no idea what variety did it.
I contacted LeafOnly and they said perhaps try their light fire cured (it’s similar to their burley, it’s strong but great to blend) and maybe source some classic cavendish.
I get my Ohm tobacco from Pipes and Cigars site so I had a look at their pipe tobacco. I got 3) 1oz samples of their Lane Limited cavendish blends.
Oh man, not like Shermans but def like grandpas old pipe…I kept it simple with the least amount of flavorings (like the classic cherry and rum)
Out of the 3 I tried, I liked the LL-7 and BCA the best. LL-7 is more of a blend with a vanilla aroma. The BCA is mostly pure black cavendish, less sweet and a little smokey.
Anyway after the samples ran out I jumped on their 1lb sale…got the LL-7, $48 after all was said and done. Just having it in the house/car, it’s so nice.
I just put about 10% in my blends
I shred my own whole leave and when I’m lazy I blend Ohm flavors together.
My whole leaf blend is 2:1 Org Canadian Virginia/American Virginia flue cured, 20% Burley(and now the light fire cured Virginia. Then 20% Ohm Turkish Red. Thats my everyday blend.
I now add some Cavendish too
My latest Ohm blend is equal parts Silver, Au Natural, Natural Bold and Turkish Red. Add that cavendish and wooo hoo! Fancy fancy.
Still on the hunt for the Sherman taste but the cavendish is really fun to experiment with.

LOP, anyone over 15”, standing vs sitting?

Who actually has their LOP over 15” based on the crease of the elbow to first knuckle measurement? How crucial is it or is it left to personal taste as well? A.I. says sitting vs standing changes it, thoughts?
