Pre rolling smokes

I was just wanting some tips about pre-rolling ciggys and storing them for another time. Sometimes i don’t want to roll one, so i want to have a batch of pre rolled ones ready to go. Last time i tried this after about a day they wouldn’t stay lit or even light properly. Does anyone know why or how to fix this.
And before anyone asks ‘why not just buy decks of smokes’, i like the taste and hit of pouch baccy better and it’s like 5 times cheaper.

I'm an engineer and i wanna publish a product or something that helps us in smoking

Pls it's important for my college stuff

What's an issue you face while smoking a cig is it the filter are they too hard too firm or something else entirely that you wish was made so that it would make your smoking session feel at it's peak

Ordering RYO tobacco cans online (CA)?

I am really struggling...

I really like Peter Stokkebye Danish export. I usually buy a can (I am in California). I can't find it anywhere like I use to. Some stores told me they will get some "soon" but nothing weeks later.

I kind of understood that selling tobacco online is legal (right?). But all the online stores are either wholesale, tobacco but for pipe, or not legit. I found one and it was charging $140+ with tax and delivery.

So are there stores online where I can buy this item? I am tired of struggling each time my can is almost empty. I already checked tons of physical stores and I am tired of doing this.

New #no name virginia package in Italy since Mac baren got bought

I finally found new packages of Mac baren #no name virginia in Italy. The new one has the Scandinavian tobacco group trade mark and opposite side opening in the front. After months of research I am happy to share it. Be careful when buying it to check the package, if too old it loses all the good taste and aroma even if hydrated good.

Started rolling and keep getting burned/burning my clothes! Help!

20 year smoker. Can't afford Newports anymore and everything else significantly cheaper ive tried tastes gross.

So I bought a 6oz bag of gambler menthol, a gambler hand roller machine, and Kashmir coral tubes. Cherry kept falling out so I packed tighter and smoked then tighter hoping the cherry would stop falling. By the time the cherry stopped falling, it was so hard to pull it wasnt worth it and my tubes kept ripping or exploding.

So I did some AI-search lol. I bought an electric roller like it suggested and It said pipe tobacco has ribbons that are too long so I chopped it up and made sure to roll packed cigarette in my fingers and packed on the table. Still getting burnt from falling lit ashes.

So I dried it for 5 minutes after chopping (read that 10 mins is too long for menthol and would remove the taste. Paper was burning faster than tobacco and having long lit ashes tilting that would again fall and burn me.

So I bought a different brand The Good Stuff Menthol and new tubes - ohm premium green.

Still cut and dried because the ribbons ended up being longer with the good stuff.

Played with tightening but I still get that long angled lit ash that falls on me. If I try to ash it like a store bought cigarette with a light flick and the whole cherry pops out.

I would really like to stop getting burnt and burning small holes in my clothes. Even bought a car pack since the ash fell in between my toes while driving and I had to tolerate it to avoid an accident. Fuck that hurt.

I dont know what else I can do to avoid "air pockets --if thats the problem. I spend a lot of time each cigarette and the outcome is the same even when I don't pack it.

Please help!

Picture is of when the ash starts to tilt before it falls. Then a light tap and cherry is out.

Antalya Duty free

Hi everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone had been through Antalya airport and could tell me what the selection of cigarettes is like? Looking to try and pick up some of the click ball flavoured Marlboros as I was able to get 400 last time when I was in Marmaris

Ordered some fags from HRT Japan and the tracking hasn’t updated?

As said above the tracking hasn’t updated since it got into the uk just under a week ago, just wondered if anyone has an experience of ordering from this company and if this has happened to them. I tried contacting the store and they said it’s in UK customs now so they don’t have time frames of when it will be released?

How long should a tolerance break be?

I'm trying to get that pleasant initial buzz from my first cigarette.

I'm on and off with smoking but wondering what the ideal time should be between smoking weeks and non smoking weeks to keep my brain from growing a tolerance to that nicotine buzz.

Duty-Free Amber Leaf

Got two boxes of duty-free Amber Leaf as a gift. Pouch note is sweet hay, nutty, leather, a hint of wintergreen(?)...has that Copenhagen snuff bite mixed in there.

Very moist so you can't roll this too tight. I left a small pile on the rolling tray over night to dry and it took forever.

I got a buzz going from OHM Turkish yellow to this. Smoked through one pouch already and it was good down to the last pinch and wasn't reduced to a dry pile of shake.

Can anyone tell me more about this particular brand and blend? What gives it that Copenhagen snuff smell and that wintergreen element?

A big thank you to this community !

Ive been smoking Newports for around 17 years and in Pittsburgh PA where I live they hit around 12 and some change a pack. I refuse to pay that and after spending a few days lurking on this subreddit I found OHM menthol and Zen menthol filter tubes plus a hawkmatic hk2 rolling machine. I’ve been rolling my own for about 3 weeks now and I honestly enjoy these ones I’m making myself over the Newports. They taste a lot more cool and refreshing if that makes any sense. I was spending around 125$ a week just on cigarettes compared to me now paying 32$ every two weeks shipped directly to my door. Thank you guys so much !

Questions and a bit of a rant

Hi! I came back to rollies some time ago, l've been a long time smoker with times off.
recently I have noticed that everytime I smoke a rollie l end up with my lips very sticky and if I smoke more than a few even my fingers stained. I have tried two different types of Lucky rolling tobacco and a few Captain Black's too, always the same. Someone has the same issue? I guess it could be the short slim filters but I have tried with two filters and without filters and ends up being a bit of the same, like the paper gets impregnated.
I use OCB slim filters and papers, non-bleached virgin and xpert, mostly. So both thin and slow burning.
I've thought about tubes, because it doesn't happened with straights cigs to me, even if they left much more unpleasent smell on clothes and hands, but don't stain nor make my lips sticky. But I don't wanna give up rolling yet, I really enjoy it and I like my cigarettes the way I make them, and select quality papers and etc.

Hawk Matic HK-3+ Auto Start Tube Feeder (3D Print/Build/Assembly)

Finished the HK-3+ Auto Start Tube Feeder project after 4 days of P/T work (I'm retired...) to 3D print the parts, build, and wire the assembly consisting of 4 servos, a color sensor, Arduino IDE compatible ESP32 control board and component wiring. I'm currently building my second auto tube feeder as a gift to my brother who introduced me to the MYO hobby. Pretty sure the second build will go much faster...

I found the FREE 3D print model and assembly instructions online at Maker World (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2048328-hk-3-automatic-shell-feeder#profileId-2210469).

The detailed 42-page PDF Instructions in German was converted to English using Google Translate. I used GROK (xAI) to convert the Arduino IDE 2.3.8 control file/comments in German to English,

If you have an HK-3+ and 3D printer (or know someone who has a 3D printer) I highly recommend this project. Load your king size tubes, favorite tobacco... press the GREEN Master Start Cycle button and away she goes!!!

(Edit: The HK-3+ sits on top of the assembly and DOES NOT require opening the HK-3+ or altering it in any way. A servo arm depresses the HK-3+ START button. The Auto Start Tube Feeder is like an octopus that is wrapped around the HK-3+ and easy to remove and use manually if desired. The feeder gets its power from the HK-3+ power adapter and a female to two (2) males adapter cable. Cost to build was approx. $125 USD in parts and one (1) roll of 3D printer filament from Amazon.com. The required parts/shopping list is included in the PDF instructions.)

Captain Black rolling tobacco

Lately I have seen lots of Captain Black rolling around. Have searched here and seems it isn’t too popular. The pouches I have bought are “Bright Virginia”, the cut is not too shag, or not shag, a bit more thick cut? I don’t know how is the cut called. It’s overall nice and 50g are much cheaper than a GV 40g pouch.
I was wondering which would be the difference between the Bright Virginia and just the plane Virginia.
Any experiences? I just came back to smoke rollies so I haven’t tried too many different brands.

Drum original Blue review

Drum Original Blue is such a classic that it doesn't need a review but might help some folks who are new to ryo.Gonna keep this review simple

It's a Halfzware so the smell hits you as soon as you open the bag.

What's inside: Dark fired Kentucky and Virginia

Flavor profile:deep, smoky, and slightly woody, with some dried fruits reminds of dried plums. It's by all means a full bodied smoke.

Cut: Long and fine making quite easy to hand roll or for use in tobacco Rolling machines.

What really makes Drum Blue special for me is the balance — it’s full bodied without being harsh on the throat. Kentucky gives off a dark, earthy flavour while the Virginia softens it with a pinch of sweetness expected from Virginia. 😋

Burns nice and slow, reliable good quality, readily available makes it a classic smoke enjoyed by older generations and today by us.
