Any post that reads "Why isn't X people doing anything about Y problem" is actually 2nd order ragebait.

It's apparent to me that these posts are first order ragebait because you get a comment section full of angry people talking about a problem that noone seems to solve.

But I propose that the actual reason for the posts is to piss off people who read the botted comments which "sincerely" engage with the slop. You get double the ragebait if the OP is from a country that has exactly the same problem with no solution.

An example might be

Title: "Why aren't Americans doing anything about the Epstein files"

Body: "As a person from [insert country], ..."

Like come on, what do you mean you're German and are worried about the rise of fascism in America. YOU have the rise of the Afd in Germany and YOU are doing nothing, what dont you understand that made you write such a shite post. But that's the point, the post was never about fascism, it was about pissing you off with idiocy,

I hope you can sense my rage as I put forth my conspiracy theory.

Gary Stevenson started his channel as a way of cleaning his kitchen.

Gaz

I've come to believe that former trader and activist Gary Stevenson only started his channel so that he could muster the motivation to clean his kitchen, wash his dishes, and tidy his counters. That's why he does videos usually once a week and that's why they're filmed in his kitchen.

Some could argue that it's to appear more down-to-earth as he knows his trading career might alter how sincere his message sounds, but they're forgetting that he didn't need to make a channel. He was clearly always going to write a book, he was always going to campaign, and was always going to have social media, but the YouTube channel only came about to force himself to do his chores.

This is why Rory Stewart disagrees with him so much, because Rory's kitchen is absolutely filthy but Alastair won't let him film their podcast there so it never gets cleaned.
